| Cajons are box drums with one or more playable surfaces from which sharp slaps and deep bass sounds can be derived. Such drums have a history which dates back to the slaves working shipping docks of Peru who were forced, in their passion for their musical roots, to "invent" cod shipping crates as drums--cajons. |
