The CultureLab Community Library is a place for learning, sharing and the exchange of knowledge and practice. It is envisioned as a long-term, sustainable resource for the field. As a “social library,” it is not just an archive or repository, but a living resource. Users not only search and retrieve information, but continuously expand the library and add value to its contents.
As of 2012, the library is in an early beta stage of development, and open to a limited circle of consultants, researchers and academic programs. As the library gains a critical mass of content, it will be opened to ever-widening circles of people in the sector.
CultureLab is a partnership between the Cultural Policy Center at the University of Chicago and an international consortium of arts consultants. Inquiries about the site should be directed here.
